Rooms are neat and come with flat screen TVs, but otherwise are nothing special given the price tag. Pricing from B2,900
  • Dragon Beach Resort (aka Jomtien Dragon Beach Resort and Dragon Beach Hotel) [JH03; P] – http://www.dragonbeachhotel.com/; +66 38 706 364-6; info@dragonbeachhotel.com; Located towards the end of Jomtien Beach (the quietest part, but the beach kind of disappears a bit here as well), this 2006 property is reasonably neat. Rooms are fairly roomy but kind of basic. We note this place gets mixed online reviews. Pricing from B2,000.

The rooftop (38th floor) area offers stunning high altitude views over Jomtien Beach and up to Pattaya. Rooms are roomy and modern. Pricing from B2,700.
  • Eagle House Jomtien [JH05] – http://www.eaglehouse-jomtien.com/; +66 38 059 576; info@eaglehouse-jomtien.com; This is a boutique guesthouse with 9 reasonably furnished rooms. Bathrooms have quite an interesting décor. Pricing from B800.
  • Eurostar International Hotel and New Eurostar [JH06; P,W] – http://www.eurostarhotel.com/; +66 38 233 333; Eurostar@hotel-pattaya.at; The original older hotel is located towards the back of Soi 1 and the newer hotel is directly in front of it (with the latter offering sea views). This is a popular hotel, with a great decent priced restaurant at the front of the newer hotel. If you have a choice, we recommend the New Eurostar over the original building Rooms are neat, comfortable and spacious. In the original hotel, they could use a bit of an update though. Note that during busy periods, the hotel sometimes gives preference to repeat guests over new guests. Pricing from B1,100 (B1,200 for the New Eurostar).

Rooms are very modern and attractively furnished, with modern appliances such as flat screen TV and well equipment kitchenette. The larger rooms in particular are an outstanding option and are very spacious. Facilities are excellent for such a boutique residence and include gym, pool and on-ground golf course. Pricing from B2,000.
  • Friends Café Jomtien Guesthouse [JH08; W] – No direct contact details. This is a Norwegian run café on Dong Tan Beach with three rooms available for rent upstairs. Rooms are fairly basic but tidy and everything is in a nice relaxing location with the beach directly out the front. Pricing from B750.
  • Grand Residence Jomtien [JH09; W] – http://www.grandresidencejomtien.com/; +66 38 059 578-80; info@grandresidencejomtien.com; This boutique serviced apartment offers nice, clean and spacious modern rooms with up-to-date amenities such as flat screen TV. We recommend you get rooms facing the ocean given that the rooms on the other side get a bit of road noise from 2nd Road. Pricing from B1,000.
  • Grand Jomtien Palace Hotel [JH10; P,G] – http://grandjomtienpalace.co.th/; +66 38 231 405-8; Built in 1993, this is a large resort with very nice, large pool Rooms are okay but could use an upgrade, although the Cottage Garden View rooms are interesting. Pricing from B2,000.
  • High Lords Residence [JH11;]– http://www.highlordsresidence.com/EN/; +66 38 231 771-3; highlordsresidence@gmail.com; This is a small hotel built in 2000 and renovated in 2012. Rooms are quite nice and very spacious. Pricing from B1,200.
  • Hostel Polko [JH12; W] – No direct contact details. We listed this because it is one of the cheapest options available. This is a small hostel with a total of 3 rooms, 2 mixed dorms and one room with a double bed. Pricing from B350 (B600 for the double bed).
  • Inn Place Serviced Residence [JH13; W] – http://www.innplacepattaya.com/; +66 38 232 996-8; info@innplacepattaya.com; This is a bit of a cross between a boutique hotel and serviced apartment, although no kitchenettes in the rooms. The residence was built in 2012 and everything is modern and very nicely furnished. Pricing from B1,200.
  • Jomtien Boathouse [JH14; W] – http://www.jomtien-boathouse.com/; +66 38 756 143; info@pattaya-apartments.com; Designed with a nautical theme, this boutique hotel seems quite popular. Rooms are a little cramped and could use an update. However, things are tidy and well run. Pricing from B900.
  • Jomtien Garden Hotel and Resort [JH15; P,T] – http://www.jomtiengarden.com/web/; +66 38 756 523-36; reservation@jomtiengarden.com; This resort was built in 1999 and has a decent sized pool and good resort facilities. It tends to be quite popular with package tourists and conventioneers. Rooms are okay given the price and facilities, although we were a bit surprised that there was no fitness room (they give you a push bike instead). Pricing from B1,700.
  • Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel and Resort [JH16; P,G] – http://www.jomtien-palmbeach.com/; +66 38 231 350-68; info@jomtien-palmbeach.com; This is a massive resort (over 700 rooms) that dominates the Jomtien skyline. The pool is awesome and the resort has a great range of facilities including snooker club and bowling alley. Rooms are very nicely decorated, spacious and are modern, including flat screen TV. As with other large resorts in this price range, it tends to be quite popular with package tourists. Pricing from B2,000.
  • Jomtien Plaza Residence [JH17; P] – http://www.jomtienplazahotel.com/; +66 38 059 514-9; sales@jomtienplazahotel.com; This is a decent sized hotel although it has a slightly dated feel to it. Rooms feel quite roomy and light coloured, but furniture is quite basic. Pricing from B950.
  • Jomtien Thani Hotel [JH18; P,G] – http://www.jomtienthanihotel.com/; +66 38 232 990-4; rsvn@jomthienthanihotel.com; Don’t confuse this hotel with the Dusit Thani, as its not part of the same group nor in the same league of hotel (hence the lower price). This is an older hotel but was renovated in 2012. Rooms are fairly basic but attractive and come with modern features such as flat screen TVs. Pricing from B1,100 (although rack rate prices are about double).
  • Mermaid’s Beach Resort [JH19; P,W] – http://www.mermaidbeachresort.com/; +66 38 232 310; mermaidbeachresort@hotmail.com; Built in 1989, this resort is a Jomtien historic icon. The facilities have a nice cozy feel to it. Rooms have been recently refurbished and are attractively furnished and include flat screen TVs. Pricing from B1,400.
  • Moonshine Place [JH20] – http://www.moonshineplace.com/; This is a bar and guesthouse located in one of the livelier parts of Jomtien (ie in an area with a bunch of bars). Not really a family hotel. Rooms are basically furnished and a bit cramped. Bathrooms are quite small. However, the bar area downstairs is quite nice. Given the price tag and location, its not such a bad deal. Pricing from B700.
  • Neo Hotel [JH21; P,G] – http://www.neopattaya.com/; +66 38 059 661-3; sales@neopattaya.com; This is a fairly new hotel, although the design makes it look more like modern apartments. Rooms are modern but basic. Pricing from B950.
  • Nirvana Boutique Suites Hotel [JH22; P,W] – http://www.nirvanaboutiquehotel.com/; +66 38 757 010-3; This is an exquisite boutique hotel that really lives up to its name. Rooms are meticulously styled to a luxurious Thai theme and each has a nice little balcony. The downstairs pub and restaurant area is quite cozy. Pricing from B1,600.

  • Opal House Hotel and Restaurant [JH24; W] – http://www.opalhousepattaya.com/; +66 38 231 557; info@opalhousepattaya.com; This is more of a guesthouse. Clean but simple rooms and bathrooms. Some rooms have newer flat screen TVs. Pricing from B1,000.
  • The Palm Delight Guesthouse [JH25]– http://www.palmdelight.com/; +66 38 232 675; Small guesthouse with comfortable renovated rooms including flat screen TV. Look for the travel agent sign when trying to find this place on Soi 7 as it is not well signposted. Pricing from B600.
  • Pinnacle Grand Jomtien Resort and Spa [JH26; P,G,T,W] – http://www.pinnaclehotels.com/hotelsite/pinnacle/jomtien/; +66 38 259 100; jomtien@pinnaclehotels.com; Part of the Pinnacle chain of Thai hotels. This is an older (1988) and large resort located toward the South of Jomtien. It is quite popular with conventions and can get quite busy because of that. Rooms are not bad and have been updated (including flat screen TV), and the family rooms are really spacious. Pricing from B1,900.
  • Rabbit Resort [JH27; P,W] – http://www.rabbitresort.com/; +66 38 251 730-2; sales@rabbitresort.com; This is a very popular resort on Dong Tan Beach with very Thai styled buildings and amenities and a great restaurant. Rooms have different themes and are very nicely decorated. Pricing from B2,900.
  • Sunshine Guest House [JH28; W] – No direct contact details. This is a 15 room guesthouse. Rooms are okay and quite spacious. There are also larger rooms available that feel like a large apartment. Pricing from B700.
  • View Talay Condominium 5 [JH29; P,W] – http://www.view-talay-condos.net/vt5_rentals.php; This is a condominium rather than hotel, but there are various agents offering rooms for short and long term rentals (including the one we have provided a link to). Optional cleaning and maid services are also available. Short term pricing from B1,300.
  • View Talay Condominium 7 [JH30; P,W] – http://www.condo7.com/; See our comment for View Talay Condominium 5. View Talay 7 is newer and better located than View Talay 5. Short term pricing from B1,500.
  • Villa Thongbura [JH31; P,G] – http://www.villathongbura.com/home.htm; +66 38 303 770-4; info@villathongbura.com; Built in 2009, this is a gorgeous Thai style resort built around tropical pools and oriental gardens. Rooms are neat and come with Thai style furnishings although they feel a bit sparse and tired. There are also separate serviced apartments that are good for longer stays (although the apartments could use an update). Pricing from B2,190 (although cheaper rates available long term).
